Wade Chamberlain P.E.

Personal Summary:
Wade was appointed President of the company in July of 2007. Previously Wade was Vice President, Eastern Regional Sales Manager and Director of Operations of the Eastern factory. Wade has been involved in many different forms of heat transfer for nearly 20 years. His primary involvement has been with sanitary plate heat exchangers, but he also has experience with thermal storage, instant chillers, and refrigeration. He has been employed by AGC Heat Transfer, Inc. since 1998. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and takes pride in his ability to develop fluid heat exchange solutions for uncommon applications. Having grown up on a dairy farm, Wade possesses a unique combination of graduate level engineering education, hands-on practical experience, and a very strong mechanical aptitude. He enjoys being involved in almost every aspect of the Company (engineering, management, manufacturing, and sales). Wade lives in Warrenton, Virginia with his wife Beth and two children, Adam and Shayna. In his leisure time, Wade enjoys building and driving his 65 AC Cobra replica ( www.quickkeys.com/Cobra/Default.htm ), homebrewing, and woodworking.

Personal Summary:
Mr. Bohn’s over 27 years professional experience has been devoted solely to sanitary plate heat exchange. Mr. Bohn helped found the company in 1991. He is listed as an inventor of a patent in the field and finds helping the customer with innovative solutions to their specific problems a rewarding challenge. His travel worldwide brings a unique balance and understanding to the sanitary plate heat exchange market. He has extensive real world application experience with various viscous products including starch and starch based products, Ice Cream mix applications, Ketchup and sauce products, Liquid Egg as well as cheesemilk and standard HTST, HHST, UHT and Aseptic plate applications. He perfected the circulate method of field leak checking plate units (PlateCheck) using AGC s exclusive RI-606 food grade circulate dye. He is a member of the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers (IAFIS) and International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA). He serves as Chairman of the 3A sanitary standards (WG 5) setting design standards for plate and other heat exchangers. He resides in Farmington, Missouri with his Wife Joanie and two step-daughters Lindsey and Kristi. He has three wonderful older children Juliana, James and Rebecca living in Portland, Oregon. He is an instrument rated Private Pilot and flys a Lancair Model 4P four place, turbo-charged pressurized high performance aircraft. He also enjoys service in the Church, travel and relaxing with family.

George Tholl

Personal Summary:
George is the Director of Operations of the Portland, OR facility and is the Director of Research and Development. George is also a former shareholder of AGC Heat Transfer, Inc. (AGC). He brings 21 years of experience in a broad range of technical areas such as process design, computational heat transfer, rheology, and hard tooling design and development. He has implemented a R&D program that gives AGC the in-house capability using the latest CAD tools and CNC machines to bring a conceptual plate design through to a finished product. This internal capability gives AGC the ability to develop superior, innovative products in a timely manner. He has also developed a plate calculation software program based on a finite differencing routine that allows our sales engineers to model the heat transfer and fluid dynamics of viscous highly non-Newtonian products with great precision. George has strived to give AGC customers the best service available by ensuring that our sales and engineering team have the best tools available to design heat transfer systems. With his experience at AGC and with former employers George has developed a management philosophy of leading by example that he applies to the operations in the Western Factory. George resides on a ranch in Eagle Creek, OR with his wife Sherry and two daughters Rachel and Morgan. In his leisure time, George enjoys time with family, growing trees, hiking, and kayaking.

Cindy Betterly
Controller - Eastern Office Manager
Personal Summary:
Cindy joined the AGC, Inc. team in September of 1995. She has grown with AGC over the past twelve years performing various accounting and office functions. Some of her current responsibilities include: payroll processing, human resources and benefits administrator, cash management and disbursements, general ledger, preparing company financials, and office manager duties. Cindy is a very dedicated, detail-oriented employee with a positive attitude. In 1998, Cindy and her husband, Craig took over the family sod business and they work together to keep the books in order. She currently resides on the family sod farm in Bristow, Virginia with her husband and two teenage sons, Philip and Scott. In her spare time, you will find her at a baseball or basketball game cheering on her two sons or attending various other sports events. She also enjoys playing tennis, Body and Soul Aerobics, and just spending time with family and friends.

Jill Davis

Personal Summary:
Jill joined the AGC team in September of 2000. Previous to working with AGC Jill worked for one of the largest engineering firms in Buffalo, NY and moved on to help establish the Buffalo branch of a NYC based engineering firm. She relocated to the Portland area for a job opportunity for her husband, Mark. Jill and Mark now reside in the City of Portland with their dog, Jack. Her current responsibilities include: managing the western factory office staff, human resources, purchasing, establishing the plant safety committee and maintaining a safe work environment. In addition to these responsibilities, Jill has taken a keen interest in the AGC product range and customer support. She enjoys the challenge of assisting customers with their specific requirements. Her motto is “If I don’t know the answer, I can find out who does!” She is thrilled to live in Portland, far away from the blizzards of Buffalo, and now enjoys riding her bicycle for the commute to the office. Her hobbies include camping, Frisbee golf and smiling.
